This serene waterfront retreat in Hampton Bays blends Scandinavian style with a touch of coastal warmth. Designed for a lovely couple, their young child, and their two little dogs, the home was a joy to create—made even better by their impeccable taste and collaborative spirit. A full renovation and furnishing project, the home features a completely reimagined kitchen anchored by an oversized island wrapped in a quartz waterfall countertop—crafted for gathering, cooking, and lingering with a view. The palette is soft and textural, layered with warm neutrals and gentle curves. Highlights include a light gray Venetian-plaster fireplace surround, classic Danish furniture, and an arched built-in bar with integrated lighting that glows beautifully at dusk. Construction was executed and managed by AJS Operations, with exquisite custom cabinetry by Babylon Cabinet Co. Calm, elevated, and effortlessly refined, this home embodies relaxed coastal living through a Scandinavian lens.
