After a whirlwind weekend at High Point Market this fall 2026, the Natura Chicas are back at our desks, bursting with inspiration and ready to spill the tea on all the fabulous trends, fresh styles, and exciting finds we spotted.
For those unfamiliar, High Point Market is often described as the fashion week of the interior design world. Held twice a year in High Point, North Carolina, this to-the-trade furnishing exhibit draws thousands of designers, including your favorite trio, to view the latest in furniture, lighting, and decor. Our team was at the market for a total of 3 days, and our step counts totaled over 16,000 each day!
This Fall, High Point Market wasn’t shy about making a statement: bold is back, and it’s stealing the spotlight. Out are the days of uninspired beige and all-white spaces, and IN are rooms full of depth, character and luscious details.
We are dying to share some of the trends we are crushing on, and what is coming in hot.
Goodbye Beige. Hello Merlot.
Beige has had us in a chokehold for forever. This Fall market really said absolutely no más and brought color back in full force.
This season's colors are moodier, sultrier and sumptuous—Deep chocolate, blackened green and merlot are the top three contenders. These full-bodied tones bring the perfect amount of drama and richness to furniture, textiles, and upholstery.
Overall darker hues envelope spaces in rich color without feeling overwhelming—warm, sophisticated, and just the right amount of seductive.
A Three-way Love Affair: Metal, Stone and Wood
As devoted lovers of natural materials, we were starry eyed by the beautiful array of metals, stone and wood thoughtfully incorporated into furniture in unexpected ways.
Richly veined marble pieces, wood fissures filled with brass inlay, and travertine accents were a few of the striking details we encountered—raw beauty, combined with artistry. The ultimate sophistication.
Woods are darker than before—walnut, ebonized oak—and sexier, think smoky burl. Metals are more brazen - hammered pewter, unlacquered brass. And stone is unapologetically natural, unpolished and ready to party.
Curves in All the Right Places
Straight lines were hard to find! This market was all about curves, movement and organic shapes.
From sculptural lighting to curved sofas and asymmetrical tables. Playful, intuitive and balanced in a way reminiscent of nature itself, things seemed to have a softer, more fluid silhouette.
Natural textures and tactile materials, such as faux fur, jute and paper, added a layer of surprise and interest. Who needs straight lines, when curves are way more fun ;)
A Nod to Tradition
This nod to tradition isn't about revisiting old styles, but rather reimagining classic design elements through a fresh perspective.
Traditional forms meet unexpected textures—a high-back armchair upholstered in faux fur, animal print accents on a curved velvet sofa, antiqued glass in a contemporary frame.
This revival of sorts pays homage to the building blocks of interior design while creating a fresh and exciting visual landscape—one that awakens the senses, stirs emotions and is more experiential than ever.
Inspired, Energized & Slightly Obsessed
High Point Market is an essential part of our year as designers—and easily one of our favorite trips! This is our chance to step away from the day-to-day, and immerse ourselves in creativity, discover new products and get a glimpse into where the design world is headed.
There is something so energizing and inspiring about being surrounded by so much talent and craftsmanship. We spent our days exploring showrooms, exchanging ideas and occasionally falling head over heels over a piece of furniture.
We return with tired feet, heads buzzing with inspiration, and most of all filled with ideas to bring into our client’s homes. Our countdown to High Point Market starts once again. Only 350 days, 15 hours and 18 minutes until we see our love again 😍.
